Apprentice Membership Any person of age 21 years or over, of good character, with an interest in the promotion of the objects and purposes of the organization is eligible for membership. The apprentice program is two years in length after which you may apply for active membership entitling you to all rights associated with that classification, including the right to vote and hold office. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Associate Membership Associate Membership is open to anyone meeting the age, character, and interest requirements as stated above. This is a popular choice for people who are unable to meet apprentice obligations or whose primary interest is use of the clubhouse facilities. Associate members can use the bar and galley, sponsor parties, attend membership meetings, and serve on committees. Associates may not vote or hold office and have no boating rights. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

The object and purpose of this Club shall be to promote and encourage yacht building and naval architecture, to cultivate and disseminate naval science and nautical knowledge, customs and beliefs; to bring about a closer friendship among those having an interest in the art of yachting and navigation, and to unite all such in an organized effort to improve the same; to acquire, hold and own, by purchase or gift, such real and personal property as may be deemed necessary for the furtherance of its business and purpose.
